Privacy Policy and Call Recording Notice
What Garage Door Care of Round Rock collects, why, how long it is kept and what you can ask us to do about it. Last updated 11 September 2026.
Who this policy belongs to
This policy is issued by Garage Door Care of Round Rock, a mobile garage door repair business serving Round Rock, Texas, and it covers this website at garagedoorrepairsroundrock.com together with the phone line and email address published on it. Questions go to contact@garagedoorrepairsroundrock.com.
What we collect when you call
When you ring us we take what we need to do the job: your name, the phone number you called from, the service address, and what the door is doing. Payment is taken on site or by invoice, and card details are handled by the card processor rather than written down by us.
What the website itself collects
The site has no contact form, no login, no newsletter and no shopping basket, so there is no field on any page for you to type into. Nothing you do here is stored on our side beyond the analytics described below, and the pages are plain static files.
Call recording and monitoring
Calls to the published number may be monitored or recorded for quality, training and to confirm what was quoted. Texas allows a call to be recorded with the consent of one party. Tell us as soon as you ring if you would rather not be recorded, and we will carry on without it or take the job by email.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own. If website analytics is switched on, a Google Analytics 4 tag loads and sets its own cookies to count visits, pages viewed, approximate location by region and taps on the phone link. That data is aggregate, none of it identifies you personally to us, and no advertising or remarketing pixel runs on this site.
Why we hold any of it
Three reasons only: to turn up at the right address with the right part, to keep a record of the work in case the warranty is claimed, and to understand which pages of this site are useful. We do not build profiles and we have nothing to sell to anyone.
Who else can see it
Job records stay with us. The parties who necessarily see something are our card processor when you pay, the analytics provider if analytics is enabled, the telephone provider that carries and records the call, and the host that serves these pages. We never sell, rent or trade contact details, and we do not pass your number to other trades.
How long records are kept
Invoices and job notes stay on file while a warranty claim is still possible, plus the period tax rules oblige us to keep them, and then they go. Recordings of calls are held briefly and overwritten. Analytics data expires on the provider's own schedule.
Choices you can exercise
Ask us for a copy of what we hold about your job, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted once the warranty period has passed and the tax record no longer needs it. You can decline call recording, and you can block analytics cookies in your browser with no effect on the site.
Visitors under 13
A site about broken garage doors is not aimed at children, and we neither seek nor want anything from a visitor under 13. If you think a child has sent us something, tell us and it gets deleted.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS. Job records are held on password protected devices and accounts, and only the people doing or invoicing the work see them. No system is perfect, so we keep as little as the job needs.
If this page changes
When anything here changes, the date above it changes too. If we alter how calls are recorded or how analytics is used, that gets spelled out plainly instead of being buried mid-paragraph.
Reaching a person about privacy
Email contact@garagedoorrepairsroundrock.com or call (512) 778-8716 and say it is a privacy question. The same people who answer repair calls answer these, and you will get a reply rather than a ticket number.
Anything here you want explained?
Ring and ask. The line is open all day and all night, and a person answers it.
