Terms of Service and Repair Conditions

Accepting these terms

Using this website, or booking work with Garage Door Care of Round Rock, means you accept what follows. We trade as a mobile garage door repair business in Round Rock, Texas, and can be reached on (512) 778-8716 or at contact@garagedoorrepairsroundrock.com.

What this site is, and is not

The pages here describe garage door faults, repairs and price ranges in general terms. They are written from experience in this trade and in this city, but they are not instructions for working on a door yourself, and they are not a diagnosis of your particular door. Springs and cables hold enough stored energy to injure you badly.

Estimates, ranges and firm quotes

Every price on this site is a range, gathered from what work of that kind actually costs locally. A range is not an offer and not a quote. The figure that binds us is the one given after we have seen the door, and you hear it before any part is removed. Where a door turns out to need more than the range covers, we stop and give you a fresh number instead of quietly enlarging the bill.

Booking, arrival windows and cancellation

Slots are arrival windows, not appointment times to the minute, because the job before yours can run long or short. We will call if a window slips. Cancel or move a booking at any time before we set off at no cost, and tell us as early as you can if the door fixed itself, which does occasionally happen.

Paying for the work

Payment falls due when the work is finished and the door has been cycled and handed back. Cash, credit and debit cards are accepted, and business work can be invoiced to the company with a purchase order reference. Diagnosis on a standard daytime call is not charged for, so declining the repair costs you nothing.

Warranty on parts and on our labor

Parts carry whatever warranty the manufacturer gives them, which varies with the part and, for springs, with the cycle rating fitted. Our own labor is guaranteed: if a repair we performed fails in the way we fixed it, we come back and put it right. The term is written on the invoice. It does not cover new damage, storm or impact damage, or a part somebody else has since worked on.

Safety, access and what we will not do

We need clear access to the door, the tracks and the motor head, and we may ask for cars and stored items to be moved. Work is declined where it cannot be done safely: a door propped on something improvised, a rotten header or jamb that will not hold the hardware, or a repair that would leave a door without working reversing safety devices.

Phone calls and recording

Calls to our number may be monitored or recorded for quality and to confirm what was quoted, as set out in the privacy policy. Tell us at the start of a call if you would rather not be recorded.

Content on this website

The text, layout, images and code here belong to Garage Door Care of Round Rock. Quote a sentence or two with a link back if it helps somebody, but please do not republish pages wholesale or copy the price tables onto another trade site.

Limits on what we owe you

Our responsibility is limited to the work we carried out and, at most, to what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost income from a blocked bay, a missed appointment or the contents of a garage that was left open before we arrived. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Which law applies

Texas state law governs this agreement. Williamson County, Texas is where any dispute over it would be heard.

If we change these terms

Updates appear on this page with a fresh date. The terms that apply to your job are the ones published on the day the work was booked.

Reaching a person
